Default a/c pump ????

I'm going to be doing some a/c work. So i looked into getting an air pump/vacuum. anyone ever use the electric ones? or the harbor freight? i can't seem to understand how to inject the refrigerant oil or the actual refrigerant into the system after applying vacuum.

I'm from OK, so i don't think I'll have an issue buying r134.

I have the Harbor freight one and it works great. Vacuum the system for 30 to 40 min depending on how long the system was open and to inject oil, first look the oil capacity you don't want to put to much oil in there it will not cool and if you go to low you can damage the system. You also need manifold gauges the Yellow hose with the can adapter is the one you use to inject oil.

The yellow hose meaning to hose that goes into the pump? After performing the evac, you remove the pump and connect the r134 can and inject?

I guess I'll go get the pump and gauges and try it out.
