Vacuum pump hose routing???

Default Vacuum pump hose routing???

For you guys out there running an external vacuum pump, how exactly did you guys route your lines??

i would do the second setup, but with the catchcan inbetween the block and the pump.

What kind of vacuum pump are you using? I wasn't aware of any mechanically-driven pumps for CCW Honda's...closest thing being the Moroso external oil pumps, and that's not a vacuum pump at all.

If it's designed to be able to handle oil vapor and not get clogged or damaged from the build-up, then you can the catch can after the pump.

If the pump wasn't made to handle anything more than air (like a brake booster pump), then you need to take precautions to keep the oil vapors from getting into the pump...at least that's what I've been told.
