Ok so i am installing a/c in my 96 del sol a little confused about the box that goes under the glove box... looks like the previous owner had a ghetto rig because the compressor isnt the right one and it was mounted on what looked like a home made bracket. The lines that plug into the back of the battery are not located behind the battery. .. there next to the battery... is this possible or part of the ghetto rig.... i can go pick up an new box that will lead to behind the battery.. just want to make sure before i go spend the money... I'm trying to post a pic. I taped off the inlets with green duck tape for visual cant figure out how to post pic... new to forums...

 

 

LOL, looks like someone added parts from a totally different car. As far as I can remember, all Civic's use a TXV located within the EVAP housing. That is an H-Block assembly, off of god knows what.

 

You need the evaporator and evap. housing for a 96 DelSol. 94
