a/c compressor will not turn on!
ok, i have a 99 honda civic complete a/c system in my 92 hatch....everything worked PERFECT las summer, then i disconnected it (compressor and condeser) for the winter...
NOW, i have installed all parts properly, and the condenser fan kicks on, BUT the compresser will not engage.....i dont understand why....it only sat for about 5 months and the clutch turns freely.....
it's not the relay, already checked....what could it be???
ALSO, it has already sucked up 24oz of r134a and does not have any pressure in the system.....it did not leak out anywhere....whats going on with my a/c?

You just haven't found it yet.
If no psi... then yup its leaked out some where, all car a/c gasses have oil in them so look for an oil leak, OR buy some leak detector and then look for the red dye..
if you have access to nightrogen pump up the system (DO NOT!!! enguage the compressor you will kill it) with the system under presure use a spray bottle with soapywater and look for the bubbles.
also good idea to have the a/c system hold a 30lb vac. for at least 30 mins, also the vac will take all the moisture out of the system moisture + 134a is not good on the internals.
forgot 1 thing... they A/C system in most hondas - acuras will not enguage the compressor its under or has no psi... its a fail safe to save the compressor.
