Sounds like you and you "boy" need to have the car tuned and adjusted by a professional, you dont njust drop in cams and get power. You cando serious damage to the engine by running lean and having the valve lash set to tight. If you want to know what valve lash is, chec the card that came with your cams, that will give you the spec's and do a simple search on here

hes used a jumper and chipped p28...ok we covered a vaccumm in the back of the manifold thats the closest to the brake booster...we put a small hose with a screw in it to block the air...it idles at about 200 or 300rpms...we unplug that vaccum and he idles like at 1100...it has a 00 gsr motor and a 96 dx harness with the vtec ran correctly...car ran fine when the head was stock...now the cams and valvetrain idles wierd and bogs out when vtec engages but then runs fine after like 6200 roms...

You may simply need to have the car tuned
