i just would like to know how much base hp i will se from a b16a1 motor with itr cams, gears, I/H/E (a 95 si thermal R&D 2.5inch setup on my 91 hatch), and all new fuel (fuel rail, pump, injectors, regulator, lines) just looking for a good guess. i've got some people telling me to spray it and others talkin turbo. so id like to hear what this setup could put out hp wise first of all.

dont hate!!! just read before you write
correct the b16a1 does have 160 fish sticks, but over the years most find they dont have exactly that much. usually you will lose power over the years... i would say a stock b16 pushes about between 130-150 at the wheels. and if you build it up you can oviously gain some too. i thought this was an article on building a b16er.

dude you only lose around 20-30 at the most though the drive train. so you are saying a b16 would give you less than ******* 130 hp at the wheels yea right. i think you dont know the b16 as well as ya think...what the hell are you runnin? huh? well thats what i thought biach! 160 at the crank and on average 130-150 at the wheels!! sorry dude but YOUR WRONG what the hell your b18 must be a dog! sorry but i had to correct ya! dont have hard feelings

When was the last time you looked at b16a dyno charts? His estimate may be a little low when you take into account I/H/E but not all that low. As I recall it seems that avg for b16a with I/H/E was 150whp.
