BSOD WIN 7 Shutdown when idle
When the computer is left on with or without lid closed instead of sleeping the computer has to be rebooted ie. won't wake by pressing KB or mouse

At least he put it in Tech/"Misc" and not Forced Induction or another Model Specific area.
OP: Had the same problem with my current setup. Upgraded to Win7 and when coming back from sleep mode I would get several error messages. I did a simple system restore and finished DL the latest win updates and the problem seems to be non existant since then.
Could be something as simple a registry file out of place.
Try a system restore, or a complete HD wipe.
