Default Broken Distributor Cap Screws

While attempting to change the dizzy cap on my girlfriends DX, two of the screws were rusted solid, and the heads broke off... Any ideas on how to get those out? There's only one screw holding the cap on, so need to take care of this ASAP. Any suggestions?? Thanks guys!!

Damn I almost had the same problem with my hatch last weekend I just got lucky and didn't snap them off, but they pulled a few of the threads. So I had to clean all the threads on the distributor with a tap to remove the corrosion build up, and fix the pulled threads. The only thing I would say if you can't get them out with the cap off and vise grips, you will have to take the distributor off and carefully drill the bolt/screw studs out until there is just the threads of the bolt/screws in the threads of the distributor and then use a tap with some oil and you should be able to remove it then, and then run the tap a few times with more oil on it. Just be very careful not to cut new threads, because it is so very easy to do. If it is done right what is left of the bolt/screw threads should unthread them selves out the other side. Well hope this helps, and hopefully you can get them out with vise grips if there is enough of the stud sticking out. Well good luck, Jordan.

When u put the screws back in put some antiseize on there and they will come out alot easier next time. Do this to all ur bolts on ur car and u will never have rusted or coroted bolts
