brakes problem
Ok today I did my brakes on my 95 honda civic lx , so i repalce the pads and rotor on both side i bleed the system so i thouight. I took the car for a drive and now when i push on the it feel like they hoppin i can fell it thought the palte. So rebleed the system startin in the back and work my way back up. still nothing so i pull the passage side calipers of and look at it the piston it seem that it didnt move could the piston be mess and i need a new or something am up for idea. guys thanks
Try removing the piston cylinder by pressing the the pedal and putting fluid in there. look at the cylinder wall and see if it has any heat marks or if the o rings are messed up. usually the hop can happen when one caliper is working and the other does (most of the time its just messed up rotors, but since u changed them, check there) rebuild kits for the calipers are less than 10
^agreed. you need to fix that piston, check that your new rotor didn't get messed up, re-install the caliper and re-bleed the brakes.. get someone to help you, so much easier with two people.
