Default brakes get soft when its hot outside...

...why is it when its hot outside my brake pedal gets soft and starts sinking to the floor? but when its cool out, like in the morning, the brakes are fine. The brake fluid does look a little dirty, maybe I need to flush it out? or maybe change the whole master cylinder? any suggestions?

Bleed your brakes. Get all of the dirty fluid out of there.

I'd start by flushing the brakes. Even after the fluid is clean you will want to flush it 2 or three more times to make sure you get it all out.

After that if you still have the same problem I would start looking at the MC, Booster, pads, rotors.

You may want to try these as well, depending on how old your brake lines are. They may be expanding.

Also I have what I called "the G Bottle". It's a Gatorade(R) bottle with two holes drilled in the top. One hole is 16/64 with a hose that is a tad larger then that stuffed into the hole. The second hole is the smallest bit you can find, and acts a pressure relief valve. Hook the other end of the hose up to the bleeder valve.

When you are doing it some people have different methods but that one that works good for me is with the MC full of fluid have a second person to 10 quick pumps (with "the G bottle" hooked up) and hold. Then close. Look at the fluid and it if is clear move to the next one. If you fluid is dirty you will have to do about 30 pumps each side. You will want to go around again after the fluid is clean to be sure you got it all. Make sure you fill the MC up after each 10 pumps.

when you do the 10 pumps, do you leave the bleed valve open the whole time? or do you open the valve, push the brake, close valve, let go of brake?

and why cant I just let the fluid drip into a bottle? without the "pressure relief" hole

You can just pump it with the valve open as long as the tube from the bleeder stays submerged in the bottle, otherwise it will suck air back in the lines if it is not submerged in brake fluid. I just use a soda bottle and put the tube in it.

You leave the valve open, and you wuick pump, so just keep pumping do not stop and do not go slow, on the last pump you press and hold, then close the valve.
