Brake Problem??
I have a 92 civic dx, When i got the car the brake were very soft like you had to hit the floor to stop, Well they got worse so i replace the master cylinder, new pads, new rotors, Now i still have the same problem, they stop at the floor but not very good...what else could it be the soft lines? hard lines? brake booster, how could i check to see what else is working and not...thanks
Try bleeding the brakes. Thats a common cause for a crappy pedal. Also make sure you use new, high quality fluid. Honda is good, Valvoline Syntec is better, Motul is best. Never use silicone brake fluid in any car ever.

If you don't bench-bleed the MC, it's very difficult to get air out of the MC. Either take it out to bench-bleed, or bleed the system a LOT more. Like maybe another pint from each wheel.
Better brake fluid has higher boiling points, but that isn't what your problem is about.

Hydraulic fluid is not hydrauilic fluid. Read the label on any two bottles of brake fluid or search on it. Having a 200 degree higher boiling point is sort of nice. Besides, Valvoline Syntec is half the price of Honda fluid, and has a higher wet and dry boiling point.
