brake line cover?

brake line cover?

are there any suggestions on what to use to cover steel braided brake lines to keep dirt from working in them and maybe damaging the lines? is it even neccessary to cover them? TIA

The idea of added insurance is a good one. I would just use shrink tubing for wires around them.
