Brake light switch?
Okay, so I accidentally cut my brake light switch from my original harness. And I'm trying to rewire it up.
Here's my question:
(Brake switch is in center of picture.)
Is it okay to just run the white/green wire mentioned in the picture, THEN just have a ground to ANYTHING/ANYWHERE?
Or do I have to hook it up to the brake light FIRST, then ground from there?

To sum it up, white/green wire for sure...... then where do I have to hook up the ground? Is it okay anywhere or what?
Thanks for any help in advance!

I followed the white/green wire from the fuse box this morning..... it was a wire needed for the cluster harness. Not the brake light switch.... am I doing something wrong?

As you can see there is more then one white/green lead lead in the car, at least two of them run from engine bay to inside the car.
Without knowing exactly what you mean by, "I accidentally cut my brake light switch from my original harness" but I would guess the white/green lead you need should be coming out of the dash harness pretty close to where the switch is, did you also cut the green/white lead from the switch?
As mentioned, the BLS closes a 12V+ circuit, there is no ground , white/green in, [from 20A fuse] and green/white out, [to brake lights]. 94

I'm gonna look tomorrow for those wires and hopefully update you guys.

I know there isn't much back there, but knowing exactly where the plug is will help greatly. Is it on the dash harness? Or is it on the main harness that's connected for the firewall?
