brake light switch
This is more of a joke than helpful, but maybe it could help someone!
It goes a little like this. My brake light switch went out a week or two ago and I don't have the money right now to buy a new one yet. I came up with the greatest idea to keep them working, the roads safe, and the cops off my back. The only downside to it is that I can't use cruise control right now.
Enjoy!

I took am using the connector to the brake light switch. All you do is figure out which 2 slots are for the brake lights. You should be able to see what wires are connected to what slot on the connector. You want the Green/White wire and the White/Green wire. All I did was stick a piece of wire into each slot. One wire, the black one in that picture, is attached to the steering column. The white wire in the picture is attached to the brake pedal. When you push the brake pedal in the two wires make contact and complete the circuit to turn on the brake lights. Make sense?
