Anyone know why my brake lights might just all the sudden go out? Its not the fuse or the bulbs. Its a 99 civic si, any ideas?

find the brake light switch right behind the brake pedal (touching the pedal)
disconnect the wire harness... should be a 2 wire harness.
jump the wire harness with a wire and see if the brake lights work.

if they work, the brake switch may need adjustment or replacement.
if the lights still don't work, you have a wiring problem and needs to be located.
