Brake light problem
my brake light seems to stay on even though the ebrake is not engaged i have had my brake cap replaced 3 times because acura said the problem was a faulty brake cap now my brakes are squealing and was told that i need new rear brake pads and to top things off my button on my ebrake doesnt even stick out all the way my question is the rear brake pad wear caused by the ebrake sticking causing the brake light to always stay on or what else could have caused this?
my mom had a problem like that with her accord (i know i know diffrent cars)
she took it into honda over 10 times, they finally had to call service technicians where it was assembled and talk to them about it.
i would replace the pads and adjust the ebrake cable. see if it helps.
