Same thing that mine has done in the past... I'm going to stick to my first comment.... Brake pads and fluid. which brake pads did he change out, and what brand?

Same thing mine did... and if I hit the brakes real hard, it would come back on for a little bit, but go away.

try topping off your fluid,
and then go from there

I had this problem too. I looked fluid was full... pulled the whole console out to check the switch that was fine. Figured I would try topping off the fluid. Presto no more light...

I replaced both front and rear with OEM pads.

fluid might be good,
but top that **** off and if it's still
coming on, maybe the e-brake switch,
that's very unlikely though
