2 weeks ago I put powerslot rotors on the front of my 00 ex. I also put on Hawk pads. I did the little brake in stuff like hitting the brakes several times from 35- 10 and so on.

I noticed after 2 days of driving (with no hard braking, etc) that my passenger side rotor has a big white ring around it. (see pics below)

The driver side just has a very slight white ring. hardly noticeable at all.

Why is it doing this?

Pics aren't working for me, but a little discoloration on the rotors is pretty normal, unless it's really bad.

 

does it look like the pads are wearing into the rotor? or is it just a hazy white ring?

 

i am going to look at the pads tonight. the ring almost looks like a paint ring on the rotor
