Default brake fluid/ebrake light

my brake fluid in the mc is a bit low.. would that effect the ebrake light. it comes on and off especially if i pull the car in first or during accelation. once the car is kinda on level ground in 3 or 4th gear going smoothly. it goes away and comes on and goes away. I already checked the ebrake connector and is fine.

any suggestion?

Yes, the light will come on if the fluid is low enough. Yours goes on and off as the fluid sloshes around during acceleration.

BTW, if you don't have any leaks, low fluid indicates worn brake pads/components.

well first figure out why your brake fluid is low, worn pads...leaks????
there is a sensor on the reservoir car that senses fluid level and when it is low, the light will come on, obviously if it swishes around it will go on and off.
do not just refill the reservoir, brake fluid does not evaporate, so figure out why it is low, if it is worn pads, relace them and your fluid level will most likely rise, if its a leak then you should fix it (duh) and then refill the reservoir....
hope that helped just a bit...

I recommend what was stated above and also replace the m/c cap if the light does not turn off

thanks guys. I had to flush my brakes a bit after putting on new rotors and pads and didn't know I was out of fluid. so I will get some today to fill it back up. I flush till it was close to the lower mark or else I would of have almost no brakes.

hope this goes away when I fill the fluid back up.. thanks all for your advice and conern. but I still have a problem taking out the caliper pins. are the pins on the caliper and do it remover the pin from outside of the caliper where the 2 12mm screw goes in. the pins are with treads for the bolt to go in right.
