Default BOOST or NITROUS

Well i still can't decide how to rebuild my ITR, don't know if i should lower my compression to 10:1 and go boost or go back with 11:1 and spray it. If i boost I'm not going to be able to boost right away till i save up for it. I really don't want to go any lower than 10:1 so that way i don't feel a major loss in power all motor. The pistons i'm looking at aren't available in 10:1 so i was wondering if i knocked a liitle of the head to raise the compression to make it 10:1 if it would mess with my timing? All opinions welcome.
