bogging B18a
My b18a in my 90 teg has for quite some time, bogged occasionally at very low rpms when moving from a standing start. I can get it rolling fine, but when I go to accelerate, the engine bogs heavily and I have to disengage the clutch to keep from stalling. I don't recall this problem ever happening once the engine was warm, but I'm not 100% sure.
I figure it might be either a fuel or a spark problem, and I remembered a while ago my mom took my car in for an oil change. She said the guy told her that my spark plug leads were shorting out. I ignored it because I just figured he was trying to sell my mom some spark plug wires or something, but could that be related to my problem?
Thanks

Yeah, I thought of that too, and I'm reasonably certain my mounts to suck. Maybe I'll try to fix those over the winter. I tried to buy plug wires today but the first place I went to didn't have them and I didn't have any more time. I guess I'll just fix things until the problem stops.
after u replace the wires, if the problem is still there, u should try testing the tps(throttle position sensor) on the throttle body. i remember when my tps went bad the motor kept bogging off like u explained. i ended up replacing a bunch of **** before i found out that the tps was the reason for the bogging
What should I check for on the TPS. Is it something obvious or is it a little harder to find because my tps and throttle cable get checked every time I get my car teched for autoX, but it's certainly possible that we're all missing something.
