Default blow hg or waterpump failed

hi guys

yesterday my b16 started smoking when i stopped with the engine on.

presure inside the coolant overflow tank spraying out.

fan fuse was blown also.

noticed that the lower hose stays cold and the upper gets hot.
and the fan wont turn on (logic)

changed thermostat but no luck
lower hose stays cold after ideling for 45 minutes.
temp meter stays around 75÷

there are no bubbels comming out of the rad when i remove the cap.but it started pouring out because of the expanding and boiling and no circulation

i boiled the thermostats and they do work

tested the fan and relais and they are good.

before i didnt had coolant lose or white smoke.
it looks like its smoking a little bit more white but that could be water in the exhaust

the engine drips a little oil, between the head and bottom
No it didnt leaked at the cam stop or vtec solenoid or dizzy.

also the car normal doesnt burn oil but 10 minutes before this happend i smelled a strong burning oil
smell......

cannot bleed the system correctly because the low hose stays cold and there is no (minimal) flow in the rad

i flushed the engine and rad with water without problems.so it isnt blocked.

no wet places near the waterpump
and no abnormal sound.
the pump is 6years old and 50.000 km on it
last check i removed it and al the blades where there

i found some shiffers metal and black into the old coolant.
could be gasket or pump material

oil is not milkey and the coolant is also clear.

only the overflow tank had some dirty things at the bodem but that didnt look like oil and didnt feel like oil

when i start the car without hoses it spitting a little coolant so i think the waterpump does his job.

3years ago i had the same problem with this engine into a different car.
to much presure into the coolant overflow tank.changed the rad cap and it worked until now.....

and i had a unxeplainble sound after the swap that i could fix.
under load a clicking exhaust leak sound-a-like but there isnt a leak...

and
a the moment i removed almost everything to replaced the hg
but im afraid of making a mistake

help me out
thnx for everbody helping me out

Can you use a pressure tester on the radiator?

I also think your thermostat may be stuck open as if flowing to much.

thnx for your reply.

if the thermostat was stuck open the engine couldt get hot and the rad should stay cold for a long time.

how can i test presure into the rad?

you main presure from the lower hose without thermostat in ?

or looking for exhaust gas into the coolant/rad

hmmz maybe i wasnt right about the HG

today i noticed a tiny wet spot on the ground between the tire and oil pan.
and i saw a video of a ep3 that had a broke waterpump and had a humming sound...

im thinking when the thermostats opens the pump dont have enough power to push the coolant thru the hose....

and the tiny metalshiffers....

I replaced the waterpump and the old one looked good.
after replacing the pump ,i wanted to bleed the system.

afther 90 minutes the car still bubbled out of the rad.
the fan has kicked in like 20 times
(the rad was also replaced btw)

and afther rev the engine there are big and more bubbles comming of the rad
and somethimes i see a little oil looking bubble in the coolant.like a tiny brown drop into the coolant

so i removed the head ,and give it a look today .....

I use one of these funnels below for bleeding the coolant system. Made by Lisle.

Amazon.com: Lisle 24610 Spill-Free Funnel: Automotive Amazon.com: Lisle 24610 Spill-Free Funnel: Automotive

Otherwise put the front of the car on ramps or jack stands and bleed it that way. As long as the fan comes on twice you should be OK.
