Default Block Help

I did a search and couldt find the right answer to this.
I know the main problem for a LS/VTEC build is the rods are weak to handle high-reving so replacing them with stronger rods (Eagle Rods) will help this, but is that the only problem?
Also what other things should I change inorder for this engine to be reliable and be able to handle high reving?

Actually the rods them selves aren't really all that weak. The rod bolts are the main problem. Also make sure all your bearing clearances are right on the money.
