Default block/head compatibilty-mini me

Ok I did the search and did not see any answers to my situation so here goes.
I build motors for the local people in my area. I was origanially supposed to do a second gen b16 swap in this guys 98 dx Hatch. To make a really long story short the motor that the guy bought ended up being 1st gen b16 cable trans. The motor came with no axles, shift linkage, mounts, wiringharness, dist, ecu. The guy got screwed. He is in the process of getting his money back. anyway it would cost too much and take way too long to use what he hasso he brings me this:

5th gen civic cx block
6th gen civic ex head, intake mani, injectors, fuel rale, computer, and wiringharness.

His d16 whatever dx stock bottom in his car is shot. crank, rods, bearings, everything burned up.
he now wants me to do a mini me setup in his car using the block and head he brought me.
I have never built a sohc motor motor before only dohc (a few)
i have a few questions about the swap.
His car is 0bd2 and will remain obd2 cause he got the obd2 ecu
his oil pump now has cfk crank fluctuation sensor on it.
How do I get it on the 5 gen cx block?
He is getting a new oil pump so which one do I use?
what head gasket?
will his 6th gen distribuator work or will he need a new one?
Is there any thing I have to do for the vtec selenoid (oil lines or passages)?
is this setup going to work?
Should I use a different block?

Any insite you guys can provide would greatly help.

Get an obd2 oil pump. The cx block probably doesnt have a knock sensor. That will be the onl problem. Everything else should work fine if the harness is for 96-98. All the headgaskets are pretty much the same so just use take your pick. There is no additional oil supply to do. Its all in the head. Using a newer block would be a good idea. All sohc obd2 blocks are 1.6.

I removed the obd2 oil pump and noticed it has the dipstick tube on it. the cx block already has the dipstick tube in the front of it. so what do I do with it. also will the obd2 oil pump even bolt up to the cx block? I asked honda and they said it would not. I don't think they know what the hell they are talking about that is why I am trying to ask someone who has done it before. Does the obd2 ex have a knock sensor? I know the 5th gen does not?
