me and a friend are trying to figure out whats going on with another friends 91 Integra. The car has a B16A swap and runs just fine. Heres the problem though.

the owner says... Once the car has been running for a long time, at least 20 minutes of driving, the oil light will flash or blink. He says it only happens when the revs drop. His examples were.

:driving on the freeway at a constant speed and pushing in on the clutch. When the revs fall all the way, the oil light will start flashing.

:driving around and having to slam on the brakes. the oil light will start flashing.

Now he says the oil light doesn't stay on, it just flashes or blinks for a lttile bit.

We never go anyplace far with him so we haven't actually seen this happen. He was low on oil once. We changed it and filled it and he said it still did it.

No signs of leaks or burning oil.

Any leads or help would be appreciated.

If your oil level is full then the problem may be that your friend needs to replace his oil pump. How many miles did he have on the pump or was it brand new?
