Bleeding A Hydro Clutch
hey, a friend of mine and me blead the clutch fluid tonight, but now the clutch has no resistance. when i push it down it stays down to the floor, and when i put my foot under it to lift it back up it springs back up. any ideas on what's wrong or what we did wrong while bleeding the system? thanks!!
The best way to bleed the clutch, IMO, is pump the pedal hard 3 times to the floor, holding on the 3rd. Then have the 2nd person open the bleeder valve on the tranny, stopping when all the air is out of the line, then repeating until its only fluid, and no bubbles.
If this doesn't work, there may be a leak in the line. hth

just go to advanced and buy the cheapo oner person hydro line bleeder. Its just a small bottle with fittings that will go into your bleeder. top off your reservoir and pump and pump and pump. Keep checking the lines for air bubbles. Repeat until no bubbles are visible.
