Default Bizzare Brake Problem

I've just fitted my NSX calipers and 282mm rotors to my EG6, with Goodridge braided lines, hte brake system has been bled following the correct procedure in the manual.

However the brakes don't bite until the pedal is about 2" off the floor!

When they do bite they are superb

Any ideas what can be causing this?

what brake master cylinder are you using? I have read that since the NSX calipers are 2 piston calipers, it takes more pedal travel to "fill" the caliper and move the pistons.

upgrade the master cyl and prop valve, those calipers are huge and are not meant for the puny master cyl and booster of a stock EG. if you have bled the system then you shouldnt have a problem other than upgrade whats neccesary.

first thing i would do would be bleed the system. then if the problem still exists think about a different size master cylinder

I have bled the system fully.

The master cylinder is the same one u get on the SiR II from Japan, so it;s not a small stock sized EG one like on a CX or summit
