Unfortunately you will get less miles per gallon with E85.

The reality is the price of gas is going to go up.But you know it's not the end of life as we know it.I use about 12 gal a week.Even if it went up $1 a gallon that is still only about $625 more a year.It sucks but it's not the world.

Do the math on that one per year.

I guess the point I was trying to make was you need to look at the big picture.I have seen people spend ten grand to save a grand in gas.If your trying to help reduce global gas consumption then more power to you.But if your doing it to save money than you need to do the math.
Something tells me your using fuel for more than commuting.

i have been looking into engine swaps that will take diesels. I have the ability to make biodiesel real cheap myself, but i dont have a car to run it in. i don't really want to go to the dark side and switch to vw, but it seems like the only real option. It will be a few years before other car manufacturers reach the market with diesel cars, and i can't wait.
I havent really been able to find much on the honda diesel in europe. I think that it might be a direct swap for the EP chasis, but i am not sure. And i dont know who easy it would be to get one. I think that the new 2.2's would be too new and expensive so i am looking for the older 1.7.
I think that we are out of luck for having honda diesel's here, now. But honda is talking about a diesel accord here for 2008-2009... maybe.
