Default BIG problems with little Apex'i V-AFC!!!!

JUST FOR SOME BACKGROUND:

I have a 95 civic DX coupe. Now mind you, the car has had a JDM D15B engine swap (that's a JDM single vtec). Anyways, i ordered a p26 ecu from a guy so that i could get my vtec running (that's the ecu for the USDM single vtec). I've driven it for months now and all has been well.

NOW FOR MY PROBLEM:

I recently installed an Apex'i V-AFC in my car late one night. I hooked up everything except the "manifold absolute pressure sensor" (blue wire). From what it sounded like,it wasn't necessary to hook it up. Anyways I drove around with it for a night, and it worked perfect. I woke up the next morning and i hooked up the Manifold Sensor. I drove around and all of a sudden my car died because the rpm's dropped. Well then i unhooked the wire and hooked it up the way it was before. Now I CAN'T REV PAST 2,000 rpm's. I put my foot al the way down to the floor, and it just sits there going "wub wub wub wub wub..." at 2,000. It's like there's a rev limiter kicking in at 2,000. CAN ANYONE HELP ME??!!!

I checked the diagram in the manual and I wired the blue wire from the harness to the one on the ecu JUST as it it said. I checked it and re-checked it so i know it was the right one. I just don't understand why it wasn't reading and why it was cutting my revs at 2,000. One of my friends told me I might have fried my MAP SENSOR. Would a fried MAP sensor give me that symptom?
