hah j/k I love b16a's If i had to fathom a guess as to what the problem might be i would think that you might have a bunged up cat, it flowed enough to not choke the d, but with all the newfound exhaust gas flow the b16a can harly breathe through it.

checked the cat yet?

also would really suggest getting the car to run with no codes, and then re-post the thread.

also, try describe the sound it makes when it goes into vtec, 90% of us drive very loud cars, but we know any foreign noise.
