its just an intake -neither will net you anything really significant, especially on a more stock motor. think of an intake as a finishing piece, rather than something to start with (i made that mistake)....some people swear by the J's racing style, because they've seen a random dyno chart that claims its the greatest thing since sliced bread....but im skeptical

its really more of a bling factor.....you also have the argument of CAI versus a short-"ram" style....just get whichever is cheaper if you have your heart set on it

the password intake is very nice. it does have that bling factor which some people arent too fond of. but as far as peformance goes...password tested this intake an a b16 and it picked up 6.5 peak hp and 7.4 peak tq. even more interesting were the torques gains seen down low and around the vtec area. take a peak at the dyno graph here.. http://www.passwordjdm.com/pro...D=373

now i cant really say that its better than the CAI. ive never seen any dyno comparisons of the two against each other. i would say the AEM may create slightly larger peak hp but probably not enough to offset the low end response and torque gains of the password piece.

just my $.02

also you dont have to worry about any hydrolock issues with the short ram and its cheaper

cold air intakes risk sucking up water from puddles and deep water since the filter is so low to the ground. if water gets into the engine you are pretty much garunteed to ruin your motor. you can bend rods and destroy pistons easily. water in the engine = hydrolock
