Default best valvetrain

valve,spring,retainer.
i know manley and ferrea are old trusted brands (and ofcourse pricey).
i'm considering supertech because its cheaper, now the question is: is the difference in price a difference of brand recognition (like half the price of a ferrari) or is the difference in price a difference in performance?
if anyone would recomend any other brands go for it. would have listed JG and Skunk2 but i've had friends that had not very good results with them (which is too bad because for everything else skunk2 is just awesome).
if it makes any difference im running a turboed b18c1 with a port and polished head

i have used rev and ferrea both in my car. no problems with either. i know of lots of guys that use supertech. i have friends that use crower springs and retainers also.
