Default best engine harness to use?

99 jdm itr swap into a 95 ex. I've be told may things like I have to use a OBD-I engine harness and change out the plugs for the distributor, alternator and injectors. I've also been told to just use a OBD-II B-series engine harness that will just plug into the motor and no plugs have to be rewired. That sound good to me. OBD-II harness will plug and play with my intermediate harness on the shock tower, but do wires need to be rearranged. I know KS wire needs to be add. I have a P30-j ecu that I going to use. Whats up with all this info??

use the harness that works with the car and swap the plugs , most likely the engine came with the plugs hacked off if not go get some from any obd-II engine /// or pull the entire harness out of your car and swap it with obd-II(not very fun though)
