My friend wants to put cams on his type r motor,what would you guys think would be the best ones to put on,Skunk2,Toda,Jun,??????

 

it totally depends on what he is wanting to do witht he car and what he is going to do to the head/block before the install

with aftermarket cams he will also need upgraded springs

 

he is going to port and polish the head along with getting cams

 

how much is going to be ported
like an extreme port or a mild port

I honestly would suggest a mild port and a set of toda b's with some good springs

it will not give you a super peaky power curve but it will pull harder throught the entire powerband.....the key is to the tuning
