Default Best brake pads?

What are most of you guys using as front brake pads? I am looking for some performance minded pads, but nothing that will break the bank, or need replacing every three months. Also, if you could tell me where you got them that would be very helpful. Thanks!

Performance Friction pads from Autozone work well.

Have you actually had good results from those autozone pads? Thats funny because I work there, so I get a 25% discount. Sweet!!!

It's been a while since I went there, but you gotta go for the most expensive (like $35) Performance Friction semi-metallics. They hold up very well, and I was never this happy with general application pads.

In Maryland, similar pads are used on police cruisers - i'm sure those take abuse well.
