Default bent spark plug?

So I picked up a non-running automatic 1992 Acura Integra GS for a pretty good deal. The owner told me that he was driving down the highway and it just started smoking up on him and now it won't start. I was hoping it wasn't going to need an engine swap but then I pulled he spark plugs out and found this in cylinder number 3. Spark plug was messed up. What do you think happened? Messed up piston? PLEASE HELP ME OUT! Here are pictures of the plug.

the engine must have sucked something up into that cylinder for the plug to get mashed like that..

if you put a good set of plugs in it does it run ok?

i would get a scope and get out cylinder #3 for internal damages and throw in a new set of plugs or even one and see how it is.
