bent crankshaft pulley :0
I just finished installing a 96 LS motor in my crx. And I noticed that the crankshaft pulley is wobbling a little when the engine is on. I dont know if I bent it during the swap or if the motor was already like that. Is this safe to drive on for a while? Can I just replace the pulley?
yes you can replace it. If it's not to bad you should be safe to drive it. The worse thing that would probably happen is you'd throw the alternator belt
At idle I can see the pulley moving side to side about 2mm. At higher RPMs it goes away. Is this bad for my bearings in the motor? I dont think i'll have time or the money to fix it right away

Did you figure this out or get a reply????
Just installed a swap (d16z into '89 DX) and noticed same thing with the pulley and doing a search came up with this post.

I wouldnt drive it like that. You could ruin the crank if the pulley wobbles alot and ruins the journal for the keyway. Check it out and see whats causing before you drive around alot like that
