Been Having a Debate With a Friend...Question on Platforms
My friend and I were discussing the Odyssey (not sure how it was brought up), when he blurted out that the chassis was based off of the Accord's. I said it wasn't, that the Accord uses the Global Midsize Platform and the Odyssey uses the Global Full Sized. Who's right?

Well...
The original Odyssey was Accord-based.
I would guess that the current one is based on the fullsize platform since it has the 3.5-liter V6 like the RL and MDX.

the new odyssey is the "honda life" in japan. seeing as its been out for years
before we got it, i cant see the chassis being that "new"

Uhh...this is a Honda Life:
In Japan they still sell a facelifted version of the original Odyssey with the 4 car-style doors.
Our 2nd-gen Odyssey is called the Lagreat.
