Default bedding brake pads in the rain?

is it ok?

i am installing axxis ultimates on all four corners tomorrow but it might rain. i need to bed them with 5 moderate stops 60-0 followed by 5 harder stops 60-0. should i wait?

I don't think it matters but just to be 'safe' maybe you should wait.

yeah, sounds like a proper break in method...

you can only do it with really good tyres though...

you gotta get the pads hot enough to smell/see smoke, so you cant keep locking the tyres,that wont help at all...

i used Toyo Proxis RA1's to bed a set of pads in the rain - lota respect for those tyres!!!

i'm running so3 which are great in the rain, i highly recommend them as well.

i have decided to wait untill it is dry. i am confident the actual bed-in procedure will be ok, but i am concerned about the hours it needs to sit afterwards... the moisture will cause the new pads and rotors to rust. this may affect the freshness.
