Bearing Clearances on Crank
I've got a B18A with ACL bearings. The bearings appear that there right at the svc limit of .0020 maybe just a hair under. I know alot of people have used ACL with no problems but seeing there at the svc limit would I be safe or should I get 1 size up from honda? Also this was measured in inches not mm. Just need some help and experience from others really. Opinions are also welcomed.

Well its a LS/Vtec with GS-R crank girdle, so hope to get it to at least the 8200 stock red line for the PR3. Not 8200 all the time. Its just a daily drivin weekly drag motor. Not going to autox or anything....
Not that I've had a lot of experience in experimenting with clearances, but I'd say you'd be fine with those clearances and running a step higher oil viscosity. Definitely wouldn't use 5W-30 on those clearances.
Personally, I prefer to run on the loose side of specified new clearances and I'm comfortable in telling you that those would be ok.

ok I'm only at the limit on #1 and #5 main caps. The others are good. When I say at the limit I'm right at it not a hair over.
