Default battery problems...

So i go back to my car after leaving it out for like 5 hours and it doesn't start...ok wtf...it's been driving fine until this. Have my friend jump me, drive for a little bit, shut it off, go back to my car, it doesn't start. Jumped the car again...went driving around for 15 minutes or so so it could charge up i guess...turn it off...try to start...no start.

My question is: is my battery dead? Is there something wrong w/ my alterantor?

thanks

Your battery is fubared. Once you get a jump and get it running the alt powers everything, check the cable that runs from the alt to the battery to make sure the connection is good. If it is then replace the battery.

Auto Zone or Advanced Auto Parts can answer that question for you....

battery and altenator questions and POWER drainage could honestly be anything. I've read like 1,000 plus post about losing power due to alteator, battery, loose ground wires, bad wiring, relay that went bad, ect!

there are tons of possiblities.
I'm not the most knowledgale guy to ask about Electircal questions so what would do if I were you is use SEARCH and read up on some way to trouble shoot to find out what system is malfucntioning in your charging system. HTH
