Balancer belt replacement done incorrectly
The "expert" missed this step on my 99 Accord:
'Align the rear balancer shaft pulley by using a 6 x 100 mm bolt or equivalent as an alignment tool. Scribe a line 74 mm (2.9 in) from the end of the bolt. Insert the bolt into the maintenance hole to the scribed line.'
The engine was starter and raved few times after he missed the step.
The moment I turned the ignition key I noticed that something is wrong, vibration.
Please tell me that there is no damage to the engine and that all what needs to be done is to do the missed step.
Please help.

There shouldn't be any damage. He should just be able to re-time the balance shaft and it will be fine. Why didn't he do it when he noticed it and what qualifies him as an expert?
Thanks!
He marked positions of all pulley's against the block of the engine, changed all 3 seals, pump and all the belts. He did not use the M6 bolt trick.
I suspect that the balancer belt slipped when it was inserted. I hope that the timing belt is properly installed.
I don't know why he did not noticed that something is wrong. He should have because I did the first 1/2 second after I turned the ignition key to start the car.

yeah those balancer belts are a lil tricky. i did a 02 RL timing belt and the pulley rotated a complete circle and after i put it back together it had a vibrations under a light load. had to do that trick to make sure it aligned
It was the shaped washer in the middle of the upper right motor mount. It was installed such that it was touching or almost touching the mount post.
Especially when the engine was cranked up, it banged and made noise.
It was properly rotated and the vibration is gone. Bummer!

every t-belt I do on Accords I just throw that bracket away. Used for assembly at the factory anyways and has nothing to do with the performance of the mounts.
