hey guys, about 5k miles ago I installed a new resurfaced ITR flywheel, and a spec stage 2+ clutch on my stock LS motor
5k miles later the clutch still chatters between 1500-2500 rpm with super light throttle..
my old clutch was an Exedystage 2 with a resurfaced LS flywheel that had a chatter/vibration from hell
i have all new bushings in the front end, innovative 65a mounts (reds), and no transmission torque mount..
what do you guys think my problem is?

not a six puck, no, it's pretty much a solid disk besides the 1/4 inch in between all the pucks.
bad shift fork? my old ls trans did it, i bought one from HMO and it doesn't do it as bad but still vibrates.. it's nuts
it'll do it shifting from gear to gear if i don't clutch it correctly

I would assume the flywheel surface is not parallel to the pressure plate surface which is causing the disc to grab and release which causes the chattering. Either replace the pressure plate or resurface the flywheel, especially if it is a stepped flywheel.

Everything is brand new, the flywheel was freshly resurfaced. This is not a SLIGHT vibration, it's like a realll bad wheel hop whenever it does it.
Is it possible my crank is walking really bad and causing my clutch to do this? Sometimes my clutch feels fine, others it chatters real bad.
I've also heard if my crank pulley is going bad it will cause the clutch to pulsate badly.. is this true?

Mounts were brand new, motor doesn't wobble around like other cars i've drove, including my old single slammer
does anybody know if a bad crank pulley or thrust washers could cause this?

Could be a thrust bearing but i really doubt it. I dont really see how your crank pully could go bad either? Those things are f-ing beefy. Lol. But if you do decide to replace it get the right tool beacuse it will save hours of swearing and lots of tools from being broken. Lol. Does it do it when you sit still or only when moving? Does it get worse with more speed? If it only does it when moving it may be your axles. The cv joints could be locking up and causing the vibration. The cause for it getting worse when you shift is that when you push the clutch in the motor is no longer forcing your axles to spin. If you are pretty sure its the clutch or flywheel i would check the flywheel for run out... I dont know the spec for sure but im thinking .004 inchs is the most it should be out of spec. Another thing to think about is are you sure you put your clutch in facing the right way? Usually they have the words "towards flywheel" stamped on one side. Hope i helped. We can get this figured out. Lol.
P.S. sorry if it doesnt make sence but its 4am. Lol

Whenever I installed the clutch i made sure the "flywheel" side was facing the flywheel and "pressure plate" side was facing the right way.
Thanks for the great response Drew, i believe the crank might have a little play in it from crank pulley to flywheel. The "wobble" occurs between 2k-3k and it feels like i'm getting on and off the gas in 1st gear with factory mounts (but not as exaggerated). The super shakey feeling that feels like a bad wheel hop comes when i'm not riding out the clutch correctly.

btw what axles would you guys recommend?
