bad timing
ok, i just recently changed the timing belt on my sisters car, its a 86 BMW 325, i know its not a honda, but a car is a car and i trust the knowledgable members here on honda-tech.
the car was having overheating problems, so i replaced the thermostat, water pump, and timing belt (since changing the timing belt was an extra 10 minutes to the water pump job) and after ig ot everything together i started it up and it started up fine, and drove it aorund for abit til it started over heating again. so the next day i flushed the system again (radiator and block) and then i started it up and it ran and idles fine for about 10 minutes then died. then when i tried to start it up it wouldnt start, but after several trys it started up and idles REALLY REALLY rough and abre runs, when put into gear it will die.
could this be a timing problem? if its a timing problem how come it just now happened and not immediately after i started it up after the timing belt change?
