Got a 94 gsr, car starts up good from cold start and heats up with no problem, and no quick overheats. After taking the car on run for at least 30 min. When i turn car off and turn it back, it will crank but wont start. Ill have to let it sit for atleast 2-5min till it cools off then it will start. Could this be the thermostat? I want to know this before i change it... Thanks

 

does the check engine light come on when the key is cycled? if not, poss. main relay. when you turn the key to the on position the light should come on, then go off, and you should hear the main relay click

 

Yes, it does come on. no CEL when driving.... Car starts up fine after car its cooled.......

 

hmm sounds like the icm in the dist.
