Default bad syncro possibility need help[ guys

my shifting into second gear is a little stiff, it takes some effort to put it in, my tranny doesnt grind at all or slip out of gear, i was wondering if this hard shifting is a sympton of my trany going bad and its syncros,, if it matters i have a short throw shifter with the stock bushing, i dont know if this makes a difference tho
