Default Bad piston Rings??

Ok, well yesterday coming back from a friends house, my car started to stutter, but it would only stutter when my car has reached 3K rpm and up. There was some white smoke coming out of my exhaust and when I got home, there was also white smoke coming out of my breather kit. When the car stutters, it kinda sounds like a harley davidson. I thought there might be a crack in the manifold or exhaust, but I checked everywhere and no cracks at all, so I'm thinking it might be bad piston rings. Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing happend to me but 1st i thought i bent a valve but as i got the head off i saw that they were fine so next i thought piston rings but as i got the pistons out turns out i broke 2 piston and cracked the other two i broke/cracked in the same spot and that was between the top piston ring and the middle ring but i had no damage to the block but hope-fully not the case for you and just might be rings or a head gasket.
