bad p2e ecu maybe?
ok to start i dont post much cause i know of the little red button called S E A R C H in the corner, i use this site alot to diagnose problems, but now i'm stumped only cause i've been researching for a week now trial after trial. I have a 96 hatch with obd1 intake i bought for a project, well they didnt finish the swap of the throttle body an wiring the iacv to a two wire an was throwing a code 14 an also the goof had the iav an the purg valve plug crossed an popped the ecu which i just found out.i did the pin out on the ecu wired up a two wire ohm tested it an everything still throwing a code 14? clean the iacv, replaced it, an still throwing a code 14, also somthin else weird is for a p2e the revlimiter isnt 6800 it just goes past it like there isnt a revlimiter, an the car isnt chipped??? i tried reseting the ecu to clear the code before i even crank the car it throws a code and holds a solid cel, an its the same code 14, i hadnt been able to find anyone right now to an test another ecu but i need your guys advice i'm stumped? ps by the way in nuetral cause of the code 14 if the throttle is pressed lightly there is a surge at 1500rpm it will catch itself an bounce there? an while driving at 1500 if i' light on the throttle in the city it'll jump an whip the car uncontrolingly"if thats a word?".
look i'm stumped as hell on this everything been changed over everything is wired i cant explain the rev limit issue of why there aint one any clue if the ecu did take **** to the going bad side.
if anyone knows anyone i can pm for i discussion it or anything huh i dunno wut else to do i've gone over everything an i aint any noob to honda please give some info or anything?
