I have a 94 civic with a b18c1 engine swap. The check engine light as been on for a while now and would usually go on at about 5000 rpms when the car sputtered but then the car would be fine as long as the lgihts on. Now when i start the car it will idle normal around 1000-15000 rpms then all of a sudden the rpms go down to 500 and below,,the car sputters and stalls. What do u think?

sounds like u need to adjust the idle
screw on upper front to throttle body

That's what it's there for, to tell you what's wrong.

 

im gonna try to pull it on thursday but regular mechanics have probs pulling it cause of the obd2 to 1 conversion not to mention my jun chip, they never get a read off it,What are the symptoms of a bad 02 sensor?

 

symptoms of bad o2

primary goes out..car runs like **** and smells like raw gas

secondary goes out..you wouldnt know without the check engine light and code because it only lets you know the cat is bad
