I just did a mini me swap on my crx si....a Y8 head on an a6 block. When I start the car it is running real rough and when i hit the gas it is like choking, there is no power at all and its incredibly loud. I am throwing code 3 and 5 which are both map sensor codes. Now when I did the mini me somehow I broke the T fitting where the vaccum lines connect to the map sensor so I went and got a new T and it still runs extremely rough and throws the code 3 and 5. Before I saw the code I thought it might be a bent valve so I was going to do a compression test which I havent done yet but I am wondering if a bent valve can cause the ecu to throw a map sensor code or if my problem is definately the map sensor???

 

well, switch the map sensor and see. and no a bent valve wont cause the ecu to throw map sensor codes.
